Performing Arts
The Performing Arts Ministry Program is empowering creatives to bring the teaching of the scripture to life, whether it's through dance, poetry, painting, , theatrical performances, and more. Through the arts we share the truth of God's word and inspire the audience to want a deeper relationship with him. The performing arts programs consist of a wide spectrum of communication theories and practices that confront how we think and feel individually and as society. We're using them to bring real life application to God's word and to impact people on every level imaginable.
Through art faith can be explained in a more visual way, and can help individuals understand the key message of God and the scripture.
Story-telling through acting is a poweful medium as it gives us an opportunity to visualize and enter into another person's experiences and emotion. Through acting were sharing the truth of God's word and utilizing our God given gifts and talents to minister through creative performaces.
Our bodies are temples, and through the lens of Christ, we can use movement to worship and give praise to God our Father. Rather than just learning the dance, as a dancer we will listen to the Holy Spirit and move as He instructs.
MUSIC MINISTRY
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to exhort,uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. Music has power to change our moods, battle depression, express, joy, etc. It unites people by breaking cultural religious barriers. Music and Worship will help strengthen your musical ability, leadership potential, biblical commitment, and understanding of the worship industry. With this knowledge, you can use your passion and skills to glorify God and impact lives for Christ. You will analyze music and worship from a biblical perspective. This program is designed to allow you to focus on a variety of ministry- related intrest such as women's, men's, youth and pastorial ministry. We strive to be an artistic and cultural resource for the community, region and even nations by presenting concerts, Incorporating live visual, fine, and performing arts.
FILM & MEDIA MINISTRY
The world responds very well to visual media, we can use media to illustrate concepts of faith in attractive ways. Film and Media Ministry exists to draw people towards the supernatural power of God using creative communication methods. We're communicating kingdom values and truth to our world through film, graphic design, animation, podcast and more. We embrace empowering collaboration and unity to help each grow spiritually and creativity as we grow together in Christ.
